Event Management: Charity Awards Ceremony

I project managed a prestigious awards ceremony for 400 successful women business owners, CEO’s and senior directors. The aim of the event was to raise £100,000 for the chosen charity, which was exceeded. The ceremony was held at one of London’s top hotels, hosted by an established TV personality and was partnered with some of the UK’s biggest brands.

My duties in organising and hosting this event included:

  • Producing event rationale documents and function sheets
  • Managing event meetings and event schedules
  • Budget management
  • Securing the venue, caterers, entertainment, AV and production
  • Distributing invitations and managing RSVP lists
  • Negotiating collaborative brand partnership opportunities
  • Managing the event running order and allocating team tasks

Office Relocation: Moving to Mayfair

I was tasked with delivering a smooth office relocation for a team of 12 to Mayfair. The project included managing all logistics, from sourcing the office space and creating floor plans to arranging the removals teams and coordinating the set up of the new office space.

Smaller, yet crucial tasks included purchasing office furniture, setting up IT and telecoms, finalising new stationery with the change of address, informing suppliers of the move and redirecting post.
